At their Board meeting on 25 April, the Trustees awarded grants to the following groups:
Outwith Festival - £15000 towards the 2024 festival which takes place in Dunfermline between 3 and 8 September. The 5 day festival includes a filmhouse, comedy, literaturecreative workshops, art exhibition and all day music event.
Queen Anne High School - £880 towards the transport and other costs of an S3 Geography department trip to Solsgirth Farm for pupils to experience real-life farming and appreciate the challenges of farming as a business and of farmers as environmental stewards.
Waterski and Wakeboard Scotland - £840 towards a six week waterski programme for adults supported by Fairway Fife, which provides a service to young adults with learning disabilities and autism through peer monitoring.
Rosyth Community Projects Ltd (Rosyth EATS) - £1500 towards the replacement of the cabin in the community garden.
Bellyeoman Primary School - £4000 towards the redevelopment of the school playground.
Fife Synchronised Swimming Club - £1500 towards the cost of a new underwater sound system.
Why not? Musical Theatre Company - £1000 towards the cost of costume hire for the production of Oliver being staged by this youth theatre company in the Carnegie Hall in April.
Link Church - £1000 towards the costs of a stair climber to allow wheelchair access into their building on Priory Lane.
Brucefield Tenants and Residents Association - £3100 towards the creation of a mural on the sports changing pavilion in St Leonard’s park.
Touch Trust - £1360 towards the installation of a soft play area for the community hub within St Margaret’s Church
