At their grant meeting on 29 February, the Trustees awarded grants to the following groups:
Visit Dunfermline - Bruce Festival - £7500 towards the jousting event at the 2024 festival taking place in Pittencrieff Park on 1 and 2 June.
39th Fife Scout Group (Dunfermline) - £2500 towards the costs of t-shirts, hoodies and bags for the group’s international camp in the Netherlands in the summer.
Garvock Community Group - £3000 towards the redevelopment of the play park in Scobie Place.
ASSET Aero Space Scientific Educational Trust - £7500 towards STEM workshops in 10 Dunfermline primary schools.
Scottish Disability Sport - £1500 towards a new racquet sport programme for individuals with disabilities at Carnegie Leisure Centre and Dunfermline Tennis Club.
Headwell Bowling Club – £400 towards a commemorative plaque for club’s centenary which takes place over 2024/2025.
Studio 11 Dance Creative – £250 towards the travel costs of 5 dancers attending the Dance World Cup in Prague this summer.
Playhouse Theatre Company – £1500 as a start-up grant for this newly established theatre company which offers classes in musical theatre, acting, dance and singing.
